Our Farm in Kasana town, Luweero District

Our Story

Founded to address challenges like price volatility, middlemen exploitation, and low farmer incomes, MAA establishes direct fair-trade contracts and a state-of-the-art processing plant. This ensures better prices for farmers and traceable, premium organic products for buyers. Uganda’s coffee sector, Africa’s largest exporter, contributes over 20% to national exports (FAO, 2023), while cocoa grows amid global demand for ethical sourcing.

Processing plant

We combat environmental degradation—Uganda lost 26% of forest cover from 1990-2005 (FAO, 2023)—through agroforestry and organic practices, enhancing quality and appealing to sustainability-focused consumers. Organic coffee fetches up to 30% higher prices (Fairtrade International, 2023).
